Roony6 months

Roony is six months old, and almost every photo we have of him looks the same: tiny paws pushed up against the wire of his kennel, head tilted, eyes fixed on whoever just walked past. He's not barking. He's not jumping. He's just hoping — quietly, patiently — that this time someone might stop and stay.

He's a mix, all soft caramel and white with the spotted belly of a puppy still growing into himself. He came to Robert's Sanctuary in December, just a few weeks old, and he's spent the most formative months of his life behind that fence. You can see the puppy in him bursting to come out: the curiosity, the sweetness, the playful little spark that flickers up the second someone crouches down to say hello.

Roony would do best in an adults-only home — no children, please. He's still learning the world, and busy little hands move too fast for a pup who's only ever known the quiet of a kennel. With other dogs he's mixed: gentle with some, unsure with others, so any introductions would need to be slow and careful. What he really needs is patient humans, a soft bed, and the chance to finally find out what life looks like on the other side of those bars.

He's vaccinated, neutered, microchipped, and ready. All that's missing is his person.
