Adopt a Puppy in Cyprus
Want to adopt a puppy in Cyprus? You're in the right place at the right time β stray litters arrive constantly on the island, so new puppies join the platform almost every week. Browse the current litters, open a puppy's page, and send an inquiry. The rescue or foster caring for that puppy replies to you directly. withBobi charges nothing.
Every puppy is vaccinated and microchipped before homing, and the rescue will tell you exactly which shots are done and what's still due. Most puppies are fostered in and around Limassol, but adopters come from all over Cyprus β Nicosia, Larnaca, Paphos, Famagusta β and many rescues also rehome to the EU and UK. If a litter you liked is gone, check back next week.

withBobi isn't a shelter β it's Cyprus's animal-rescue platform. We connect you directly with the independent rescues and fosters who know each puppy best, with no middleman and no platform fees. The same site runs a live SOS map where anyone can report an injured or stray animal in about 30 seconds, and volunteers respond. Adopting through withBobi keeps that whole network running.
Questions people ask
How much does it cost to adopt a puppy in Cyprus?
withBobi is free. Each rescue sets its own adoption donation, which typically covers the puppy's vaccinations, microchip, vet bills and β once the puppy is old enough β sterilisation. Ask the rescue for the exact amount when you enquire; it's usually far less than paying for the same vet work yourself.
How does the adoption process work?
Browse the puppies, open the page of one you like and send an inquiry through it. The rescue or foster answers you directly β no middleman. From there you arrange a meet-up, ask your questions, and if it's a match, agree on the handover. Many adopters meet their puppy within days of the first message.
Will there be a home check?
That depends on the rescue β each one runs its own process. Some ask a few questions about your home and routine; others prefer a short visit or video call. It's not an exam, just a way to make sure the puppy lands somewhere safe. Answer honestly and you'll be fine.
What health care do puppies come with?
Puppies are vaccinated and microchipped before homing. Depending on age, some vaccinations may still be due β the rescue gives you the health record and the schedule. Sterilisation is usually part of the adoption terms: either already done, or agreed for when the puppy is old enough.
I live in another city, or abroad β can I still adopt?
Yes. Most puppies are fostered around Limassol, but adopters come from Nicosia, Larnaca, Paphos and Famagusta every week, and many rescues also rehome to the EU and UK with the required paperwork. Mention where you live in your first message and the rescue will explain how it works.
