Chip1 year

Chip is just over a year old, with the gentlest eyes and a coat the colour of warm caramel. He came to Robert's Sanctuary in April, small and unsure, and he's been quietly waiting ever since — curled up against the wall, watching every person who walks past, hoping this one might be his.

He's a mix, the kind of dog you can't quite put a label on — part hound in those long ears, part something softer in the way he leans into a hand. He doesn't bark, he doesn't push. He just hopes. And when you crouch down to say hello, his whole body relaxes like he's been holding his breath for months.

Chip is fully vaccinated, neutered, and ready to go. What he needs now is a sofa, a name called gently across a room, and a human who'll show him that the world outside the shelter is a kinder place than the one he's known.
