Sonic is four years old, a Labrador mix with that classic warm golden coat, a sleepy smile, and the easy, unhurried temperament Labs are loved for. He was born on 1 August 2021, and he carries himself with the kind of calm you can't train into a dog — the kind they're just born with.

He's the gentle type. The one who doesn't bark when you walk past the kennel, who lifts his head, looks at you softly, and goes back to resting his chin on his paws. When you crouch down to say hello he leans in, slow and trusting, and lets out the long exhale of a dog who's been waiting a while for someone to notice him.

Sonic gets along beautifully with other dogs — the shelter has him marked as social and easy company. He's neutered, microchipped, passported, fully vaccinated and on regular flea, tick and worm treatments. All the paperwork is done. All he needs now is a sofa, a slow morning walk, and someone willing to give a calm, beautiful Labrador the quiet life he was clearly born for.
