This isn't one dog. It's two. Bundle, a soft golden boy with the longest ears in the shelter, and Lulu, a smaller caramel-and-grey girl with a tongue that never quite fits in her mouth — and somewhere along the way, in the noise and concrete of the kennel, the two of them found each other.

Now they're inseparable. When you walk up to the fence, they come together, shoulder to shoulder, two heads pressed against the wire like one creature with four eyes. They sleep curled into each other. They eat side by side without a single grumble. When one is nervous, the other leans in. When one is brave, the other follows. It's the kind of bond shelter volunteers talk about quietly, like they don't want to break the spell.

They're both calm, gentle, easy dogs — no barking, no drama, no fuss. They've already done the hard work of figuring out how to live well together. What they haven't figured out yet is what it feels like to be loved by a human family. They're waiting for that part.

We're looking for one home for the two of them. Splitting them up isn't an option — it would undo the only good thing this shelter ever gave them. Adopt Bundle and Lulu and you don't get one dog. You get a match made in heaven, already wrapped up and ready to come home.
