Jax has been waiting at the shelter for years. People walked past, picked the puppies, the smaller ones, the easier ones. He stayed. And every single visit he still pushes his big head into our hands like it's the first cuddle he's ever had.

He's a German Shepherd mix, about five years old, gentle, soft-eyed, and built entirely from affection. He doesn't bark for attention — he just leans. The kind of dog who'd spend an entire Sunday with his chin on your knee if you let him.

Jax doesn't need a perfect home. He needs a human with room in their heart and a sofa to share. Five years is long enough to wait.
